Livingway Christian Church was founded on Easter Sunday in 1979 by Steve and Becky Fender in San Antonio, Texas. The first service was held in their home with six adults present. Almost immediately, souls began to be saved. A precedent was set in the early days, and to this day, Livingway continues to be an exciting evangelistic church. Thousands of people have been saved at the altars of Livingway through Steve's anointed preaching. Becky's awesome singing has created a powerful atmosphere of praise and worship that has been a model to other congregations. Livingway is an interdenominational, spirit-filled, multi-cultural church that has changed thousands of lives in San Antonio. There have also been countless others who have traveled through as a result of the many military bases in surrounding areas, that carry this new-found supernatural joy to every corner of the world. Each year on Easter Sunday Livingway celebrates another anniversary of God's goodness! We now celebrate in the new 4000 seat sanctuary which was completed in November 2005. Livingway is experiencing the greatest growth in its history and is preparing for the final harvest, the greatest harvest ..... the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
